Operation Manager

Responsibilities

  •  Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements. I. E. Routing.
  •  Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles.
  •  Booking and liaising with customers.
  •  Allocating and recording resources on planning system.
  •  Ensuring team is working effectively and efficiently to ensure smooth operations.
  •  Communicating effectively with clients and responding to their requirements.
  •  Directing all transportation activities.
  •  Monitoring transportation costs to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
  •  Serve as contact person for all workers within assigned territories.
  •  Implement schedule and policy changes.
  •  Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals and objectives.
  •  Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.
  •  Promote safe work activities by conducing safety audits, attending company safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members.
  •  Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
  •  Conduct employee training sessions on subjects such as hazardous material handling, employee orientation, quality improvement and computer/equipment use.

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor degree preferred.
  •  2+ years of hands on operations management experience.
  •  Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Outlook.
  •  Knowledge of operating standard office equipment.
  •  Excellent communication skills – written and verbal, organization skills, both analytical and problem solving, and the ability to work with  confidential documents.
  •  Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills.
  •  Good research skills and attention to detail.
  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks and achieve deadlines under pressure.

Van Drive & Bus Driver

Job Description

  • Bus Drivers (CDL with passenger endorement required)
  • Driving oilfield workers to and from rig locations
  • Maintaining the highest level of safety and customer service
  • Fill out and maintain time logs, trip sheets, vehicle check lists and all the paperwork required to maintain a safe and responsible operation
  • Motor-coach and bus drivers will take customer to and from airports, meetings or overenight trips

Requirements:
  • At lease 1 year of passenger van driving experience and 3 years driving large buses or motor-coaches
  • Clean driving record with no moving violations for the last 3 years
  • CDL with passenger endorsement if applying for bus driver postition
  • Ability to pass a drug test and DOT health test
  • Open availability required

Mechanic

Midland Shuttle Services Inc. – Midland, TX

Job Description

  • Entry Level Mechanics perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with company standards
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including flushes, oil changes, etc.
  • Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs
  • Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs to Maintenance Manager.
  • Continuously learn new technical information, and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology
  • Inspect and test vehicles and record findings so that necessary repairs can be made
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic) OR recent completion of automotive tech/trade school
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications a plus
  • Hold a valid driver’s license
  • Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
  • Ability to troubleshoot when necessary in a timely manner.
